Systems

Reliability, accessibility and operability are the characteristics that we strive for in our systems refits. Reliability at sea can determine your safety as well as your comfort. We keep the systems as simple as possible. We use proven components and we install every system to comply with the hundreds of years of knowledge codified in the ABYC standards. We also make sure that the important valves, panels and filters can be quickly reached for ease of maintenance and fast operation. We believe that great systems work is in the details. In Great Island Boat Yard systems, you will find; rubber covers on hose tail clamps, excessive labeling; orderly tie up using 316 stainless fasteners and custom brackets; reinforced hoses below the water line and more.
