Our team is currently repowering an Eastern 24, replacing a Honda 90 with a new Yamaha 90. The repower includes updating the console. For this, our fiberglass tech has deleted voids, created by the removal of old gauges, and drilled fresh holes to accommodate new gauges, a DC switch panel, and a single bin control box. Working in tandem with the fiberglass team, our outboard tech has hung the new outboard, replaced the fuel lines, and installed new batteries and cables. She has also pulled failing, first generation light strips and replaced them with new Skandvik LED light strips. The new courtesy lighting will allow the owner to set the decks aglow, in blue or white. Next, a no-feedback steering kit will be rigged. This sweet little boat will be fully assembled, detailed, and ready to go just as the weather begins to warm up.
