Custom carpentry is being used to right a wrong aboard a 1972 Jarvis Newman 36. By eliminating end-grain material, where the house flares and meets the deck and cockpit coaming, Matt has arrested rot caused by water migration. He is now templating the voids and extending the existing coaming with teak inserts. Soon, seamless joints and careful attention to wood grain and color will leave the repair looking original to the boat. As a final step, our finishing team will build and blend fresh coats of varnish, making the repair even more convincing.

What a beautiful boat
Sure is!
