A new compressor has been installed on a Westerly 57 to support a rebuilt fridge and freezer. The GIBY team disassembled existing units to beef up the insulation within the boxes, as well as under the doors and hatches. New cooler plates and dividers were also installed. The owner says the new compressor is exceptionally quiet and will no longer disrupt the First Mate’s slumber.
