Thank you to all who attended our first waterfront event of the season on Friday. The thunderstorms rolled through early and the skies cleared, giving us a beautiful evening on Orrs Cove. Our friends from Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association report that the genuine interest Safe Harbor Great Island Members showed in their Monkfish Stew program and the interactions around their information table were top-quality. Your support is appreciated.

We hope to see you at our next gathering in July when we sample Snow Island Oysters and learn about Quahog Bay Conservancy and their multi-faceted envrionmental stewardship programs.
