REFIT: LITTLE HARBOR 53

Vessel: Little Harbor 53

Name: Cashew
Owner: Randy R.
Hailing Port: TBD

When this 1984 Little Harbor 53 arrived at Safe Harbor Great Island it was declared an old boat with good bones. The owner was seeking a yard capable of executing a complete refit. The boat was equipped with an archaic electronics package, cracked hoses, rotten bulkheads, frozen seacocks, tangled wires, dated plumbing, etc. Just about everything on board was in need of updating, repair, or replacement. The owner met with a service manager, reviewed the work scope, and then turned the boat over, giving our team two years to tackle the job and bring the vessel up to his desired standards. The demo phase called for the removal of a lot of old relics, while the refit phase (on going) is getting attention from techs in every service department. The end result will be a great boat with a new lease on her life afloat. She will be sailing again in 2022. Refit pictures will continue to be added to this gallery as work continues.
