The owner of this not-so-little Little Harbor 60 traveled to Maine specifically to engage the GIBY team in a major refit project. After purchasing the boat in FL, the boat owner was eager to partner with a yard that could help him update the boat and add the custom features he desired. The end goal? Prepare the vessel for cruising south and for living aboard full-time.

Work Scope:

• Strip, sand & varnish teak toe rails, 10 coats
• Awlgrip deck, house, topsides
• Remove & rebed deck hardware
• Remove unused mast hardware, plug-weld & prep for paint
• Awlgrip mast, boom, spreaders & inner deck cowls to match
• Replace mast conduit & run new in-mast wires
• Service mast sheaves
• Service boom vang hydraulic hose
• Service Stowaway gearbox
• Replace genoa furler motor
• Replace outhaul, halyards, shackles
• Install new spreader lights
• Install hydraulic furler w/ wireless remote
• Install wireless remote for windlass
• Service mast & deck winches – rechrome
• Service & chrome centerboard winch
• Replace inner forestay with removable inner forestay
• Replace backstay adjuster
• Rebuild Aquadrive & replace shaft seal
• Service Maxprop
• Fiberglass repairs
• Eliminate engine switch panel
• Fabricate removable dinghy deck chocks
• Fabricate larger wind turbine mast
• Modify stern rail & straighten stanchions
• Fabricate custom helm bracket & grab rail
• Replace bow thruster controls at helm & add wireless remote option
• Upgrade chart plotter w/ Axion Pro MFD
• Install new radar
• Mechanical & systems upgrades, repairs
• Install new alternator, update wiring
• Commission new dodger & bimini
• Commission new main & genoa sails
• Replace teak decks
• Replace raised glass hatch w/ custom flush-mounted teak hatch on forward deck, recess hinges
• Remove & rebed port lights
