When the owner’s acquired this 1995 classic, they were eager to update the vessel and bring it up to their own specifications. Their yacht broker referred them to GIBY where a wonderful collaboration began. Step one was to make the boat functional and presentable for their first season. Step two was to tackle a full mechanical, systems, and cosmetic refit.

Work Scope:

  • Install Garmin electronics packages at upper & lower helm stations
  • Make temporary fix of existing wood transom – to get new owners through first season
  • Replace transom with 1/8″ teak veneer & varnish
  • Refinish all exterior brightwork, strip, sand & apply 10 coats of Epifanes varnish
  • New canvas & exterior cushions
  • New interior cushions & updated decor per owner’s styling
  • Refinish radar mast & mount new electronics array
  • Prep & Awlgrip hull, house & cockpit
  • Prep & paint bottom
  • Service diesel engine, genset & systems
  • Install cockpit lights on flybridge
  • Install engine room lights
  • Service hatches, latches & doors
  • Service Espar heater
  • Varnish interior ceiling
